Why the genetic background very much matters, some of our biggest horned cows have come out of dams with more modest tip to tip measurements: prime example is Casino's Wild Card who is a producer of several 90" T2T offspring. Another example is Tuff Shania FL who produced Top Chart FL who is in the 80s as three year old, Party for Two FL who was right at 60" at 24 months and Still the One FL who will pass the 60" mark at the same age.
